The SeeHub building, financed by the List Group, features 1,100m² of office space, a sports centre, and indoor parking for 440 cars. The e-charging infrastructure that is currently being piloted will comprise a total of 10 charging stations from different manufacturers, a battery storage unit and a PV system.
ASCR’s goal is to use an intelligent control system to optimise free capacities, office utilisation, vehicle charging status and PV generation, and to allocate them to the individual charging stations. Locally generated energy should be used whenever possible. In order to maximise the potential of research into optimised e-vehicle charging, the entire building is also equipped with an innovative energy system and a building energy management system and – like other ASCR buildings – is thermally self-sufficient.
